We’re excited to launch the Awair Healthy Air Program for Airbnb Hosts! The Healthy Air Pilot Program is a way for Airbnb hosts to get a free Awair device — the smartest air quality monitor around— for a two-month trial period.
Here at Awair, we’re on a mission to help people live and breathe better. Awair is a great way for you and your guests to monitor your indoor air. Having air quality information makes people feel safe, knowing they’ll be informed if there are any abnormalities or issues with the air. Awair measures temperature, humidity, CO2, VOCs and dust.
Guests with children, the elderly, sleep issues, allergies, other health conditions are all highly susceptible to air conditions. By knowing they’re staying in a property that’s taking care of the air, they’ll be able to rest easy.
Why should you test out Awair? Maybe it’s for your own knowledge? Or, maybe you want to advertise your squeaky-clean, super-healthy environment to your guests? Or perhaps you’d just like to give your guests peace of mind? It’s entirely up to you. We just ask that you let us know how it goes!

Awair is a smart air quality monitoring device, perfect for any connected home. Your Awair connects to your smarthphone (iphone or Android) as well as to your WiFi network, so you can stay informed no matter where you are.
Awair’s TrueSense technology means it has separate sensors that individually output data on: Temperature/Humidity, CO2, Dust (Particulates) and VOCs (toxic chemicals). By having this data, you can rest assured that your home is safe and the air is healthy (and know if anything changes!)
The purpose of this program is for you and your guests to have information about your air quality, and it’s for us to introduce people to Awair and get feedback on how people use this data.
Anyone who is a verified Airbnb host with an active listing in the U.S. can apply. Priority in the program will be given to hosts with higher ratings and more reviews. Please note that selection is on a case-by-case basis and may be determined by factors entirely out of your control (for example, geographic diversity).
At the end of the 2-month period, you’ll be asked to provide your second piece of feedback. From there, you’ll have the option to either 1) purchase your Awair for a 50% discount ($100) or 2) return it. If you choose to return it, we’ll send you a pre-paid USPS return label. In other words, at no point in this program are you required to pay anything.
Yes. All we ask is for you to use the device and for your feedback. If you decide to purchase the device, we give you a 50% discount ($100). However, if not, we pay for all shipping costs for the device (we’ll send you a pre-paid return label to return it).
We ask for feedback at two points in your trial period: the half-way (1-month mark) and when it’s completed (2-month mark).
The surveys you’ll be asked to complete should take around 10–20 minutes to complete. The questions will be about your usage, others’ reception to knowing about air quality and general thoughts about the device.
